Why hasn't he called?

I have been talking to a man i met on a online dating service. We had great conversation, we finally met on thursday night in person. it was fireworks, when we parted for the eveneing, he left me a message on my cell phone that i had captivated his heart, how wonderful i was, etc. etc.

He emailed me the next day saying more of the same. we spoke that day and he still went on and on about what a great evening we had, how great i was. So i asked him well when are we going to see each other again? He says he has to work this weekend and probably next week. I have not heard from him today all day saturday it's 8pm. what do you make of this? We are both 55 years old.

Hey Ruth,

I don't think you have anything to worry about. There was no reason for him to say how great you were so many times if he didn't really mean it, and want to see you again.

Some guys call and text often, some guy's don't... He may just assume that since you guy's can't hang out again really soon, there is no reason to be bothering you every night with a phone call.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Be patient, and good things will come.
