When is the right time to say "i love you"?
How do you know when the right time is to tell them you love them?
Answer:
This, of course, is a very subjective question. There really is no "right" answer.
But, there are a few "wrong" times to say "i love you" for the first time. So, without a good answer to your original answer, I hope this will suffice.
Don't say "I love you" for the first time:
During sex - It's just not the right time, and will often deem disingenuous.
When apologizing for something - Never use the first "I love you" as a get out of jail free card.
Over the phone - You want to be with the person. They need to be able to feel that your love is for real. So, don't say it over the phone, via e-mail, text message, etc...
In a place where you can't talk easily with one another - For some reason a movie theater is coming to mind. You'll want to be able to bask in each others love for a while, so save out for at least a somewhat private place.
Other than that, just say it when it feels right. You'll know.
Good luck!
