Umm, does he like me ?

Okay so basically there is this guy i like, i am 16 and he is only a year or so older than me. last night i went to a party, and fights went on about this boy because i like him and she does too.

In the end i started feeling sick from pressure, and since it was a dance he came up behind me and started grinding with me and grabbed me by the waist and asked if i was okay. I thought it was soooo sweet. But, the thing is, this boy has a girlfriend already, a model named lexy, but i like him a lot and whenever id talk to him he'd make good contact, smiling at me, listening to what id say and always make sure he'd hear me over the music. and he has the cutest smile and he blushes, he has the same interests, dancing (which he is amazing at) and he'd come up to me randomly start dancing and compliment my dancing, and he would always ask to take my picture (he loves photography) and he took the worst picture of me, because i was all sweaty and bad looking from the heat in the place from dancing, but he told me he liked it and it was pretty and he kept it.

We have a lot of the same interests and he is always nice to me, smiling and clear with me, and we made it clear to each other that we are both unusually open with each other because we are both naturally shy people, but not to mention the fact that he was talking to a lot of other girls, and the girl i fought over him with he apparently sort of likes, and he'd walk away from me, but in the end we'd end up back with each other. So, I'm getting some mixed signals, plus he's taken, what should i do and how should i approach it. Because, he doesn't know i really like him, he just thinks i think hes a nice guy and really cute , he doesn't know my true feelings but i'm scared if i'm too open ill scare him away. what should i do and does he even like me? open to any advice!

Hey Jenna,

It seems like this boy at least like you. You've got similar interests, he flirts with you... etc. Now, this doesn't necessarily means he likes you more than his girlfriend (or other girls he is flirting with for that matter).

So, don't go professing your love to him right away. The best thing to do in this situation is to try to get him to pay more and more attention to you over time. And to get him to consider the possibility of dating you without actually bringing it up.

Whatever you do, don't seem desperate to be with him. Try to be seen with other guys flirting with you, etc. If you seem desired, he will desire you more.

Find little ways to get him to think about you in a romantic way, and you'll increase your chances of ending up with him.
