How do you know when a guy wants a relationship rather than just to date?



Answer:

In general, Hannah, moving from dating to a relationship (what I, and people from the 50s like to call "going steady"), means that both people want to guarantee some sort of exclusivity to one another. So, if your guy wants to give up his right to see other people to make sure that you don't see other people, hes ready to be in a relationship.

If you want to test where your guy is at, try harmlessly flirting with other boys while he is nearby. This might spurn him into action. It's in our biology to want to reduce competition from other mates.
