10 Spanish Love Sayings

If you're planning on visiting Spain, learning some Spanish love sayings is probably a good idea.

If you're a girl, you're going to want to know what the drunk guy at the bar is slurring at you.

If you're a guy, you're going to need to know what to drunkenly slur at pretty girls.

Romantic Spanish Phrases

When I lived in Spain while studying abroad, i made sure to learn these romantic Spanish phrases first:

Te adoro
I adore you

This is a good one to start with. Who doesn't like to be adored?

Sólo puedo pensar en ti
I can only think of you

Romantic, or creepy? Probably depends on the context. You be the judge.

Tienes los ojos más bonitos del mundo
You have the prettiest eyes in the world.

This Spanish love saying may be an exaggeration. But, it sounds nice.

¡Quiéreme o me muero!
Love me or I shall die!

Don't be so Wagnerian! Well, Tristan died anyway...

Siano i baci le parole d'amore che non ti dico
Kisses are the unspoken words of love

Can this be true? If so, what does it mean?

Eres tan linda como una flor
You are as beautiful as a flower

In Spanish this sounds poetic. In English, it sounds a bit corny.

Voy a soñar contigo
I will be dreaming of you

This Spanish love saying would sound nice after a night of romance, but weird any other time.

Me encantes
You enchant me

Follow this one up with, "...like a wizard". Just sayin'...

Mi cielo
My heaven

I had to include at least one term of endearment. Mi Cielo is a popular one in Spain.

Ojalá fuera bizco, para verte doble!
I wish I were cross-eyed so that I could see you twice!

Isn't that sweet? Just don't say this to someone who is cross-eyed. They won't think it's funny.

I hope you learned some useful romantic Spanish phrases. If you memorize these, you pretty much won't need to learn any other Spanish.
