Should i tell the boy i have a crush on him?

I'm 14 year old girl, and like this boy who is younger by one year. We have only known each other for like a month. The second day he gave me his phone number. so we text each other at least once a day. and once while i was texting him i asked him what kind of movies he liked and he said "any kind..but maybe scary so i could hold your hand and hug you." And i don't know if its too early to tell him that i like him?

This boy definitely likes you, right? He wouldn't have given you his number, or made that movie comment if he didn't. So, you aren't risking much if you want to tell him that you like him.

But, you don't necessarily have to tell him. He is probably pretty sure, since you keep returning his text messages and your probably pretty nice to him. As long as you reciprocate some sort of affection, he will feel confident to continue flirting with you, and the relationship will continue to develop.

Sometimes if you maintain a little mystery, as opposed to being so explicit about your feelings, it can help up the attraction, and keep things moving along nicely. But, it's up to you. Either way, it's a problem you want to have.
