Poison tears stream down my face,
My heart beats at a steady pace
As I try to stand again;
Alone and standing in the rain.
Death will put me at ease
Death will end this undying pain! I didn’t say I love you or even give you a simple kiss
Instead it all ended with a simple fist…. I hit you hard, even though I knew the pain was all to be on me.. THE FEELING OF REGRETING!! WAS NOW CASTED ON ME!!
I write these words in silence, in mute testimony
To what once was.
