Hi im nearly 21 this year and my ex is seven years older than me,we dated for 6 months but we both decided to end it because we hardly saw eachother because he works long hours.We have been recently been meeting up and talking things out and we want to give it another go,but my parents hate him because the way he hurted me.
I do understand were there coming form but we do have strong feelings for each other,plus my ex has a bad part which i and my parents know about and i do understand there only trying to protect me.
I don't know what to do or what to say to them how do i convince them to give him another shot...please help me.
