How to approach certain girl

There's a girl I really like but I'm not sure how to approach her. The thing is she works in a bank and there are 5 tellers in the department she works in so I'm worried that she might be negative if I speak to her as her colleagues are right next to her. The thing is I don't even have an account with that bank, I don't know the girl at all. I'm not scared of talking to her, it's just that I'm not sure how to approach her and besides how would we have a private conversation in a bank? I don't know where else I could possibly see her. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi Nick,

You have correctly identified that you're in a tricky situation. Asking a girl out (that you don't know) at her work will rarely work out the way you want. The fact that she works in a bank only makes it work, due to the increased need for security and professionalism.

That said, you've got two options.

1. You could go up to her some day, smile, and slide a little note to her that has your number on it. You would need to try your best to give her any reason to want to call you while also not making a scene out of it. That's got to be tricky.

2. You could actually get an account at the bank, and start going there. It's borderline stalker-ish, but over a couple months you'll be able to develop a report with her, and when you ask her out, you will have given her enough good reasons to consider it.

Provided she is single and looking for a relationship, the latter is probably more likely to work. But, that's a big if...
