How do I get this boy to notice me?

by Flora

I have a guy i like and i want to know if he likes me. i am a grade nine girl and i think he may know me and like me but he doesn't show it. How do i get his attention, make him like me, and maybe get him to kiss me?

He is taller than me by half a foot, and i am maybe 4 foot 10. He has blue eyes and i have brown, he has slightly spazzy sandy blond hair and i have short bobbed auburn hair. I wear glasses, NOT CONTACTS. I have an email, but have never emailed him. He is in my grade. He is popular, but i am not very. He has a twin brother who likes me, but he is kind of weird.
If you can help me i will be sooooooo happy,
thnx

Hi Flora... That's a great question. Now, if you haven't already, check out these Signs of Male Attraction. They might help you figure out how much this guy is into you already.

But, even if if he doesn't know how cool you are yet, that doesn't mean that he never will. If you like him, you need to get him to notice you. Guys like girls that are independent and fun. Popularity is over rated, and really doesn't amount to much in the end. Being charming and independent is much more attractive. And, I can tell that you've got that going for you. You just need to get his attention.

So, figure out some ways to spend more time together. Do you have any mutual friends? Could you all go do something together after school, or on the weekend? Are there any activities that you both enjoy, where you could get to know each other better (clubs, teams, classes)? Any way to get him to think of you in a different way than just another girl at school, and your chances of making an impression on him will improve.

That said, there is a caveat. You can never seem like the girl that is trying to get his attention. Remember what I said about being charming and independent? The more independent you seem, the better. So, try to get his attention while at the same time seeming like you really don't need his attention. Its a tough line to walk, but if you nail it, he'll be trying to kiss you in no time.

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.
