What happens if i heard he cheated on me and i confronted him about it and for the first time he told me he loved me?

What happens? What happens is that you dump his ass. If a guy only says "I love you" when he is backed in a corner trying to defend himself, he is a piece of shit.

"I love you" is not an apology, and shouldn't be used as such. He is just trying to cover his ass.

I think you need to let this guy go and find someone new.
