Does my friend like me

I've been friends with Michael for 2 years now. We started out as coworkers, then recently began hanging out more - watching videos, listening to music, arguing and discussing our favorite subjects.

I never thought he liked me. Never had a clue. Then one night, he patted my back and left his hand there, and I thought that he might be flirting. The next day, he told me he had fun spending time with me.

Since then we have instant messaged everyday, for a month. He had complimented me a few times. Always argues with me about anything. The last time I saw him, He was singing, and he looked at me the entire time he was singing. I want to know if he likes me. Because he is a friend, and I would hate to ruin our friendship.

From what you've said, this guy probably likes you. Sometimes the best romantic relationships can develop from strong friendships, so, don't be so surprised.

And, as long as you guys take everything at the right pace, and don't start putting unnecessary pressure on each other, there is no reason why your friendship should ever be in jeopardy.
