When the guy asks you to marry him and gives you an engagement ring, does the girl have to give him a ring too? Is there such thing as a guy engegement ring?

Traditionally, men don't get an engagement ring; they only receive a wedding ring. But, it's not unheard of. More and more men want an engagement ring to signify their intentions.

The best thing to do is to ask your man if he wants one. You definitely don't need to have one on hand just in case he proposes though... Just ask him after the fact if he wants one. He probably won't see the point of it, and won't make you buy him an extra ring.
