Discount Wine Gift Baskets

Finding discount wine gift baskets online, or even in brick and mortar stores is nearly impossible. The only discount wine gift baskets that you can ever really find are holiday themed.

But, even those are rare, and who wants a Christmas gift basket in February when you're looking for a valentine's gift.

So, the trick is to build your own wine gift basket. You can do it for a lot cheaper, and it's a lot more fun. Here's how...

Step 1 - Get a Cheap Basket

First, find a nice cheap basket. This one, from Amazon, would work great.

You could also find a nice wicker basket at Target, or any store like that. Also, check Craig's List. sometimes people just give away baskets.

Step 2 - Fluff it Up

Next, you're going to want to make a fluffy little bed for your wine to sit in.

This crinkled paper would work nicely, though you can also make due with tissue paper, or even news paper. Go green!

Step 3 - Get the Wine

Luckily, finding discounted wine is a lot easier than finding discounted wine gift baskets.

One of my favorite sites is http://www.winestilsoldout.com/ As the name suggests, they feature a highly discounted wine until it's sold out.

Also, you can just go to your local wine shop, and get an assortment of wine for a fairly good price.
